Can ChatGPT fill out job applications?
With Job Agent installed, it can fill supported forms. A resume or work history gives it facts to use. If a form asks for something those facts do not settle, it may need your answer. Some forms and controls are unsupported.
You could say: “Use this job link and my resume to prepare the application for my review.” That tells Job Agent to fill and check the form, then stop before submission. Can ChatGPT submit job applications automatically?
An explicit request to apply selects Autopilot in Job Agent. It verifies a supported form before making one submission attempt. Missing information, an uncertain answer, or an unsupported form leaves that application unsent, with a reason you can act on.
The distinction to watch is prepared versus submitted. Prepared means the form was filled for review; you still need to send it. Submitted means the employer’s page showed a confirmation after the submission attempt. If the result is uncertain, check the employer’s page or email before trying again.
Ask for Copilot when you want the completed form left for your review instead. Compare Copilot and Autopilot if the names are new to you. In either mode, give Job Agent accurate facts about your qualifications and work authorization. It cannot supply those on your behalf.
What do I need to get started?
Job Agent works only in ChatGPT Desktop for now. Your FrogHire.ai account provides a personal installation link. Add it through the desktop Plugins screen and keep it to yourself; you can use the same link on your own devices. Then start with a job link or a search goal.
You also need facts Job Agent cannot supply: your actual work history, the resume you want to use, and answers to eligibility questions such as work authorization. A job link alone is enough to discuss the role, but not enough to complete every application.
