Check the role first
Look at the location, seniority, employment type, and requirements before spending time on the form. If the fit is unclear, ask Job Agent to compare the posting with your resume and point to the experience behind each match. You can decide to stop there.

Read the answers an employer will rely on
Contact details and employment dates are usually facts you can reuse. Work authorization, sponsorship, salary, availability, relocation, and company-specific answers call for a closer read. Check the final resume attachment as well. The form may have accepted an answer without confirming that it was the answer you meant to give.
If Job Agent cannot confirm a required answer from the information you supplied, it should leave the application unsent and explain what is missing.
What does “checked” mean here?
Before submission, the current form needs its required fields answered, its visible errors resolved, and the intended resume attachment still present. A click that fills a box or selects a file does not prove the application is ready. A later question may appear after an earlier answer, so the final check has to cover the form as it stands at the end.
Login, identity checks, unfamiliar controls, and unanswered required questions can stop the process. They are reasons to ask for your help or leave the application unsent, not reasons to guess. This matters most with eligibility and consent questions, where a plausible answer may still be false.
Can an AI agent answer screening questions for me?
It can prepare an answer from your confirmed facts. The wording matters: “Do you need sponsorship now?” and “Will you need it in the future?” ask different things. The same is true of questions about current availability and past experience. Give the agent the missing fact yourself when you can, then review the completed form.
If you are unsure, keep the question unanswered until you can check the underlying fact. An application that stops there is more useful than one sent with the wrong eligibility answer.
Decide who sends the form
Ask for Copilot when you want Job Agent to fill and check the form before you submit it. Ask it to apply when you want Autopilot to submit a supported form after verification. Only treat a submission as complete when the application page confirms it. If the outcome is unclear, check the employer’s page or confirmation email before trying again; a second attempt could create a duplicate.
