Responsibilities
- Collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including online job postings, industry reports, and government databases, to identify trends and patterns in the job market
- Creating and maintaining databases to track job market data and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Developing and using statistical models and data visualization tools to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders
- Conducting research on job market trends, labor market policies, and other relevant topics to inform the company's strategic decision-making
- Assisting with other data-related tasks and projects as needed
Requirements
- Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Data Mining related major
- Able to analyze and interpret large sets of data and to identify trends, and patterns
- Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques and software, data visualization, and programming languages, such as Excel, R, and Python. Experience with Tableau is a plus
- Able to conduct research and gather relevant information from a variety of sources.
- Able to present data and analysis in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, both orally and in writing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Quick learner with an ability to fit into our weekly iteration culture
Preferences
- Familiarity with immigration and employment regulations, particularly those related to H-1B visas
- Positive attitude, creativity, and a team player mindset to collaborate with our diverse team
- An international background is highly preferred
