All hiring managers know a good job description attracts more job seekers.

We found one of the most ignored lines in the job description. IT can beat 27 other competing job openings.

According to F1 Hire’s analysis to 532,092 current job openings in the U.S., 84% of them did not mention sponsorship information.

As a matter of fact, only 2.97% of the over half a million job descriptions have a favorable sponsorship section in the job description. While 14% simply reject any candidate without a green card or citizenship.

Guess what, the sponsorship information is so important for international job seekers! All of them have to read JDs carefully for this section, or let F1 Hire JD Analyzer evaluate for them.

To beat the other 27 job postings, the hiring manager can add the “sponsorship section” to the job description.

The line can be as simple as:

Sponsorship is possible.

Unless the company has a hard rule, such as “no sponsorship. period.”

And if you do, please also include that in the job description to let the job seekers know. So that both will save time and effort.

I hope this 3-minute reading helps! Happy hiring, and thank you.
